El Toro is a specialized Latin Caribbean restaurant. We aim to introduce and deliver Latin Caribbean soul and comfort foods to the Indonesian community. The idea is to provide a vibrant, fun, and delicious Latin Caribbean restaurant experience on the go at reasonable and affordable prices.

At El Toro, we serve comfort and soul food inspired by authentic culinary themes from Latin America and Caribbean Islands. We have added our own signature twists to these themes, creating provocative and vibrant dishes that are modern, crave-able, and downright tasty.

Caribbean cuisine is a fusion of African, Amerindian, European, East Indian, Arab, and Chinese cuisine. The taste, smell, and feel are similar to Indonesian food. Latin American is similar to the Caribbean in many ways too. Rice and beans, a combination of sautéed or braised aromatics, exist in Latin American cuisine.

Our ingredients are locally sourced. The spices of cumin, coriander, cinnamon, and turmeric all come from South Asia or Asia, but they are also commonly used in Caribbean foods. Latin and Caribbean cuisine rice, plantains, beans, cassava, cilantro (coriander), bell peppers, onion, chickpeas, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, and coconut, among others. This blend creates flavors as vibrant as the islands’ colors, which is similar to Indonesian cuisine.

El Toro’s menu is divided into five main categories, which include Main Dishes, Side Dishes, Wraps, Extras, and Beverages. Our Latin Caribbean meals are prepared by chefs with a passion for good food made from the freshest ingredients.

We have a full range menu from fish, chicken, to meat dishes all fresh and in season. However, we strongly recommend our variations of Bowl, which originated from Latin-Caribbean nations.

Almost everyone from the Latin and Caribbean Islands eats spicy food. El Toro restaurant has created just the perfect Island Hot pepper sauce to compliment our food, so you can still eat our Hot pepper sauce even if you do not like super hot pepper as we have other freshly made sauces.

All El Toro’s sauces are made from fresh vegetables, giving it the authentic Latin and Caribbean feeling.

Yes, we have a Vegetarian menu but not Vegan as the food still includes stocks/seasoning. More vegetarian options will be introduced shortly.

Yes; our bowls and wraps all come with 1 recommended and complementary sauce. Our crab cake also comes with its own homemade sauce. You have the option to order additional sauces as every sauce can compliment any one of our bowls perfectly.

Latin American beverages are just as refreshing as their foods. Some of the beverages can even date back to the times of the Native Americans. Some popular beverages include coffee, hibiscus tea, horchata, tamarindo, and these are available at El Toro restaurant.

YES, rice milk contains almost no protein, so augment your diet with other protein-rich foods. On the plus side, it’s fortified with 330 mg of bone-strengthening calcium (and vitamins) per cup. It’s also a good choice for people with allergies who can’t drink soy or almond beverages.

All El Toro’s menus do not have or contain pork or its product. Alcohol is not served either.

YES, spices have been adjusted to match the taste of just anyone regardless of their age.
